Got a little bit of everything as I was hungry. Was a little disappointed they were out of the fish so it must be good. The beans were really tasty. I loved the block of feta on the salad. The sausage was a little overcooked so it made it a little rubbery. The fried eggplant was one of my favorite dishes. Towards the bottom it can get a little oily. Nice place to relax with friends and have a bottle of wine and catch up.

Overall pretty good, but not the best or most authentic Greek food I’ve eaten. It’s okay. The service when we sat was pretty quick with waters. The food itself was okay, flavor is there but not strongly. The Saganaki had goat cheese, which isn’t traditionally the case nor was it specified in the menu. They do need groups to all be there to be seated and don’t take reservations. I’d understand if it was amazing food, but it was just okay.

Amazing Greek / Mediterranean food! The shrimp were amazing. Salad was fresh. Moussaka was phenomenal. Great view of the WTC if you sit outside. Huge indoor seating. There is a line to get in, have to have your whole group there for them to let you in.

I’ve been recommended by my friends to try this place. It indeed deserves the hype! A really cute little place with chill atmosphere. Food is awesome. I got Moussaka (super flavorful), lamb chop (signature dish!), grilled octopus (this one is nice but not as special as other dishes), cold cheesecake (one of the best cheesecakes!!). Would love to come again.

I want to preface this by saying I am not a picky eater and I very rarely complain about food. If I don’t enjoy a place, I usually just don’t return and leave it at that.
I’m also realistic about Greek food abroad — I don’t go into Greek restaurants in NYC or London expecting the food to rival Greece or Cyprus. My standards are reasonable.
That said, this was hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in New York in a long time — not just Greek food, but food in general.
I came here because my brother wanted to celebrate his birthday here after hearing rave reviews from friends (who, I later learned, aren’t particularly familiar with Greek food). I was genuinely excited to try it.
Unfortunately, everything about this place was a disappointment.
I ordered the roasted chicken, which arrived boiled, undercooked, pink, and mushy. It was paired with boiled potatoes drowned in an overly acidic lemon sauce, which felt less like a traditional Greek preparation and more like an attempt to mask a complete lack of flavour.
Beyond the food, the hygiene and basic standards were unacceptable:
• Dirty glasses with visible stains
• Dirty silverware
• A freezing dining room
• An unstable table
• Cheap plastic side plates that were literally falling apart
• A knife so broken that the blade was hanging off the handle (I had to ask for another)
The only positive was that the waitress was kind and attentive.
What makes this worse is that this is marketed as a higher-end, pricier restaurant. For those prices, this level of carelessness is embarrassing.
It’s frustrating to see places like this positioned as “cool” or “edgy” when in reality they’re just unhygienic, poorly executed, and careless. I never leave reviews — this may genuinely be my first — but this experience was bad enough that I felt obligated to speak up so other families don’t come here to celebrate something special and leave feeling as disappointed as we did.
Do better — or don’t operate at all. I honestly wouldn’t want to see what the kitchen looks like.
